The Carlisle Family Trip Of A Lifetime

Fourteen months for a family of 5 in an RV around the US! Are we crazy?  Perhaps. Do we know what we are doing?  Absolutely not. We had only rented an RV a few times in the past for a few short trips to a family reunion in Utah. But it planted the seed of possibility that we could do this sort of lifestyle longer. In May 2024, a year in advance, we called a family meeting and gathered around the table for the difficult decision. Rob asked, “Are we all in? Are we leaving friends, boyfriends, family, hard earned spots on sports teams, jobs and the comforts of our newly built home to do this? Everyone has to be ALL IN.” We all looked around the table nervously and slowly answered “yep”, not really knowing what we are signing up for. But we all knew it would be a memory-making adventure of a lifetime. LET’S DO THIS!….and so the Miles of Carlisles begins.
